Over the past ten years, I have given hundreds of public lectures and talks to schools (I was the Institute of Physics Schools and Colleges lecturer for 1998), scientific societies, science festivals, book festivals and branches of learned societies. Venues include the Royal Institution (6 times), Royal Society and the British Museum.
Public lectures overseas: The Staatliche Museum of Berlin in 2004 and lecture tours in theatres, cafes and bars in Greece, Czech Republic, Oman and Thailand in 2005, all organised by British Council.
